New Book Review: Discount Armageddon by Seanan McGuire

My latest book review of Discount Armageddon by Seanan McGuire is up over at The Dragon Page. As with many of my reviews for this wonderful website and podcast, you can also catch the audio version by subscribing to the podcast feed.

While you are at it remember to stop by The Dragon Page on Monday for a special series in honor of World Book Day/Night.

Two Brilliant Minds, “The Shared Desk”

The fantastic writers Philippa Ballantine and Tee Moris, co-authors of Phoenix Rising: A Ministry of Peculiar Occurrences Novel, as well as many other great works, have embarked on a joint podcast project “The Shared Desk“.
While the pair are a couple this is not a “couple” podcast, but a serious discussion of writing issues, both as individual authors and in collaborative work.

The 15 minute intro episode and the first full length 45 minute podcast have dropped and I’m loving what I have heard so far. Coming out about every two weeks, I expect this to become one of my regular listens.

If you are a fan of Tee and Pip, or interested in the writing process, this podcast is for you.

Phoenix Rising – Coming Soon!!

I’ve been enjoying listening to the podcast being released by Philippa Ballantine & Tee Morris in anticipation of the release of their upcoming steampunk novel Phoenix Rising: A Ministry of Peculiar Occurrences Novel on April 26th.

You can catch the podcast, including some serialized Tales from The Archives, and learn more about The Ministry of Peculiar Occurrences over at the site

New Media is “Contagious”

Found an interesting post on Podiobooks.com it seems that Scott Sigler’s novel “Contagious” (the sequel to “Infected”) made the New York Times Best Sellers list. While I have yet to read or listen to either title I have enjoyed several of Sigler’s other works, especially “Ancestor”.

This major success in traditional media is very cool. You can find the full article over at the Podiobooks blog.
