Well that’s a wrap for this year’s Banned Books Week. I was hunting around for something cool to post for the end of the week and came across this post. I don’t think I can top it so here you go.

Any hope that there will be a very short list of challenged books between now and next year? Yeah, sadly probably not 😦

      1. I can understand that. There’s a book that was mentioned on NPR that I thought should be banned (it detailed very strict and abusive parenting practices for a specific religious sect – can’t remember which). As they described the torture techniques they advocated for *kids*, I understood why folks wish to ban books. Sometimes, folks do write horrendous things.
